More goodies from the Glades

Double-crested Cormorant.
Still uploading pics from the Flamingo area of the Everglades, and to start with this Cormorant, and for a change the Double crests are on show.

Just good friends ? or is there something sinister going on here ?? Alligator and possible Stinkpot turtle.

Laughing Gull.
This Osprey nest has been on the go for many years, and at the moment the female is sitting.

Male Osprey fly over
Male on watch close to a second nest.

Birding can't get much better than this, or can it ?

Female on second nest.

American Crocodile, not to be confused with American Alligator

American Crocodile

  2. Thanks you for that Stewart,I'll look at it when I get back home at the weekend, but generally my photos are not of a high quality. I do enjoy looking in on your site from time to time.
    All the very best Gordon.

    1. Thanks Wally, its the fact that the birds are so approachable in Floida, in most places in the UK you get within half a mile of a bird and its gone.
Most of the popular birding sites have hides if they wern't there the birds wouldn't hang araound.
