More from Lieghton

Couldn't make out what this wader was, it was too distant, and I didn't have my scope

By the time it was on the computer, the general census was, its a juvenile Green Sandpiper.

This Heron has spotted something , its beginning its run with a slight list.
At one point a flock of  Greylag Geese started circling round.

Greylags

Coot enjoying some pond weed, or is it chocking on it.

A pair of Gadwall, I love the markings on the male, so delecate

Bottoms up, Gadwall.
Hope you enjoy , all for now.

  1. Hi Gordon, nice variety you have! I especially like the Green Sandpiper. We do not have that species here. Hope all is well!

  2. Thank you Tammy, and yes all is well. I didn't know about you not having Green Sand over there, but you do have some very smart Sandpipers over there, most I think I've seen on your pages from time to time. i have some of them on analog video from my visits to your wonderful state.
    Thanks again, Gordon.
