I like these mergansers. We see them here occasionally but not so often that that I take them for granted like mallards or coots.
ReplyDeleteI like your header. I shot an image of an osprey a few days ago but it was not as sharp as yours.
It's hard to get any shot of a merg, never mind ones in flight like yours Gordon. Interesting to read your previous post on how the gulls have declined at Walney. I think lots have moved to nesting on roofs in the Fylde.
