From the archives, with a sad message.

All the pictures that you are about to view where taken over our local patch, they are from my archives. Beautiful birds looking good in their natural environment, as nature intended.

  7. So sad and unnecessary. Predators are an essential part of the ecosystem. My grandfather used to shoot what he called "Chicken Hawks," but they were buteos that mostly ate rodents. Now they are killing the wolves in Alaska and some other Western states because thy prey on game animals-- after all the expense and trouble that went into their reintroduction.
