This little Critter, a HEDGEHOG Erinaceus europaeus) was rescued by my Daughter, it was in the prosses of crossing a fairly busy road. So she stopped her car, picked it up and put it in someones garden, this one didn't become road-kill. |

Must be pretty tiny?? I've never seen one.
ReplyDeleteSize wise, they are about 8 to 10 inches, and come late Autumn, the find somewhere warm and dry and hibernate for the winter..
DeleteGordon.
he's just precious! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable little critter. Glad your daughter rescued it.
ReplyDeleteThank all for your comments, and if it wasn't obvious, the Hedgehog is covered in very sharp spines, and need care when picking them up, at which time they also roll up into a ball.
ReplyDeleteTake care all, Gordon.
Love that she stopped to help that sweet lil pokey little thing.
