  8. We have those Moorhens in Florida too! Their feet are outrageously huge! Especially on the baby ones, which I've spotted once only. You got some great action pictures!

  11. Do you know Gordon that I haven't a single picture of an adult Moorhen. Don't know about you but I find them very shy. And of course they can run like the clappers. Good to see yourswas different.

  13. Hello Gordon!:) What huge feet indeed! Ha ha, but they stop the Moorhen from sinking in the mud, and the little ones feet are as big as it's body, for the same reason. Like Phil, I have only seen them once before with two chicks in tow. Thanks for sharing your Moorhen sighting, and images.:)
