A few more from the California beaches

one or two more pics before we move inland, although when we did so the birding became less of a focus , as other things took over the entertainment. !!. Studios, film stars and the like.

SANDERLING , IT WAS SHELTERING FROM THE WIND BEHIND THE CLUMP OF SEAWEED.

  7. Great photos of all the shorebirds.
    Thanks for your comment on my blog.This area is known for the shorebirds but here in the bay at high tide they prefer to roost in certain sites - and not where people can disturb them. There is a roost site about a mile further around the bay.
